OPEN MIND Technologies UK is seeking an Application Engineer to join our growing and dynamic team.

• You will provide first-class technical and sales support to our customers, prospects, dealers, and partners.
• You will conduct pre-sales technical activities which includes preparing technical proposals, carrying out demonstrations, and giving presentations.
• You will install our software and train our customers as post-sales activities.
• You will resolve technical issues and provide solutions to support sales growth.
• You will work closely with our sales team to ensure you are up-to-date with market developments, schedules and that the deliveries are met.

• You have a relevant technical or engineering qualification.
• You have about 3+ years hands-on experience of CAM software in a sales environment or production environment.
• You have in-depth knowledge of CNC machining, CNC control systems, CNC machine tools, NC codes and CAD/CAM software. Knowledge and experience in 5-axis machining and turn-milling is a plus.
• You are a team player and have excellent computer skills (MS Office).
• You have a current UK driving licence with the flexibility to travel in the UK as there will be some travel.
• Within driving distance to the Bicester office.
